Competition for a scholarship in galactic dynamics

Nicolaus Copernicus Astronomical Center in Warsaw, Poland, invites applications for a 10-month research scholarship for young scientists within the Maestro project “Dynamics and morphology of interacting galaxies” led by prof. Ewa Łokas and funded by the Polish National Science Centre. The scholarship is available for PhD students in astronomy, astrophysics or related fields. Requirements include good knowledge of galactic dynamics, programming and proficiency in English. Applications for the scholarship should include a cv with personal data, description of research interests and a list of publications, a copy of the master diploma as well as information concerning scientific accomplishments and awards or distinctions received for research performed so far.
