Rajeev Singh Rathour is a Ph.D. candidate at the Geoplanet Doctoral School led by the Nicolaus Copernicus Astronomical Center (CAMK) in Warsaw.

The supervisor of his doctoral thesis is Prof. Radosław Smolec.

The topic of his dissertation is on investigation of pulsation period changes in classical pulsators, mainly developing a method to disentangle the evolutionary period changes from the non-evolutionary one. His work is at the interface of theoretical evolutionary/pulsation modeling and observational data from the OGLE photometry survey.

The list of and links to his publications can be found in NASA ADS database, while his scientific profile is avalaible on Google Scholar platform.

The research that Rajeev is conducting is supported by Prof. Smolec's NCN SONATA BIS grant (2018/30/E/ST9/00598) titled "Classical Cepheids as testbeds for stellar evolution and pulsation theories".
