Ganesh is a Ph.D. candidate at the Nicolaus Copernicus Astronomical Center (CAMK) in Toruń and a research scholar at the GeoPlanet Doctoral School.
The supervisor of his doctoral research is Dr. hab. Krzysztof Hełminiak.
Modelling Eclipsing Binaries, Estimating fundamental parameter of Eclipsing Binaries, Time-Series Photometry, Spectroscopy and Radial Velocities
He is currently working on modelling detached eclipsing binary stars to estimate extremely precise orbital and stellar parameters which qualifies them to be benchmark stars for upcoming missions like PLATO and with WP125500, WP161000 working group. He has an active long-term observing program at LCO for 550 hr for 3 semesters.
