Felipe Espinoza Arancibia is a Ph.D. candidate at the Nicolaus Copernicus Astronomical Center (CAMK) in Warsaw and a scholar at the Geoplanet Doctoral School.


The supervisor of his doctoral research is Dr. Bogumił Pilecki. His Ph.D. work focuses on the study of Classical Cepheids in binary systems.


He participates in the research grant SONATA BIS funded by NCN, entitled "Understanding Cepheids: physical and empirical basis for our main tool for distance determination in the Universe" (2020/38/E/ST9/00486) led by Dr. Pilecki.
