Josiah Ensing works as a postdoctoral seismologist in the Seismic Sensors group at Particle Astrophysics Science and Technology Center (AstroCeNT) at the Nicolaus Copernicus Astronomical Center (CAMK) in Warsaw, where he characterises the seismic noise fields at sites for astronomical observatories.
He received his doctoral degree in 2021 for his work imaging the crust of the Auckland Volcanic Field using ambient seismic noise at the University of Auckland.
He is currently working at AstroCeNT characterising the seismic noise fields at the European Gravitational Observatory (EGO) and at potential sites for the Southern Wide-field Gamma-ray Observatory (SWGO). He also participated in seismic surveys Sardinia, at a potential site for the future Einstein Telescope, and analysed seismic effects of wind there.
The list of and links to his publications are available in the Google Scholar platform.
