Wednesday Colloquium The Colloqium takes place every Wednesday at 11:15 AM - Warsaw Copernicus Astronomical Centre (Lecture Theatre), Bartycka 18. Upcoming seminar: 2012.02.08 KENIJ TOMA Osaka University "The Role of Relativistic Neutrons in the Production of AGN Jets" AGN jets are considered to be produced by injecting magnetic and (or) thermal energies into the dilute polar region, where the mass loading processes are essential for determining the jet properties. We discuss the role of the relativistic neutrons escaped from the accretion flow for the mass loading (as well as thermal energy injection). Journal Club Journal Club takes place on Mondays at around 11:00 am in CAMK. The seminar is conducted by dr Michał Bejger (bejger@camk.edu.pl). The seminar is given in english.
